CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS RUN AT OAKLAWN
The Mustang Cross Country teams ran Saturday at Oaklawn, hosted by Lake Hamilton High School.
In the junior high girls division the Lady Mustangs placed 10th out of 16 teams. There were 232 junior high girl runners who ran the 2.08 mile course and the top 30 finishers medaled. Top finishers for the Lady Mustangs were: Falan Miller, 8th place (14:52), Rachel Mina, 22nd place (15:14), and Sarah Butler, 35th place (15:43).
In the junior high boys division top finishers were: Hayden Rickett, 29th place (13:08) and Brandon Rickett, 31st place (13:10). There were 226 junior high boy runners and again, the top 30 finishers medaled.
The top high school finisher was Kevin Evans who placed 67th out of 212 runners with a time of 19:45. The high school course was a 5K (3.1 miles).
The teams will be running next Thursday, October 22nd when they will travel to Guy-Perkins.
